DESCRIPTION:

The Countryside biking tour lasts for about 3 to 4 hours average and passes through the typical pueblos of Paucarpata, Yumina, Sabandia and then returns to the center. If the group is strong and wants some extra challenge, we can add on a pass through the district of Characato any perhaps even Mollebaya, if there is time.

Going on bicycle is one of the best ways to get to know the city as we will see many different parts, noticing the idiosyncrasies in the urban design of the streets. Make sure to be careful with the traffic! In addition to the urban parts, we will then get to see some parts in the countryside as well as how the people live in those areas. We will see pre Inca terraces, irrigation systems and water fountains, etc along the way.  You will be able to see Arequipa in a whole new light by the time you finish this tour.
