Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco-Tambomachay-Huchuy Qosqo

We will begin with a pick-up from your hotel, after you have had breakfast, transporting you to the starting point of the walk, "Tambomachay".  Day 1 will be spent trekking at heights of 3000 to 4000 meters, all the while enjoying panoramic views of the glistening lakes and immense mountains such as Mount Ausangate.  Continuing on the trip, we will come to a bridge leading to the Inca archaeological site, Huchuy Qosqo, or "Little Cusco", leading us in from the top and leading us around before arriving to a suitable spot to set up our camp.

Day 2: Huchuy Qosqo-Sacred Valley-Cusco

After enjoying a quick, but healthy Breakfast, we will go about having our guided tour of the ruins as we make our way around the beautiful site.  We will even be able to enjoy some absolutely amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains in the gorgeous Sacred Valley of the Incas.  We will then make our way down the mountain where we will meet the transport which will take us back to Cusco.

• Transfer from airport or bus terminal, upon arrival, to hotel in Cusco.

• Transfer from hotel in Cusco to starting point in Tambomachay .
• Tents (with 2 persons to every 4 person tent).
• Personal Insulator camping mattress.

• Professional Bilingual Guide.
• Food during the trek (2D, 2A, 2C).
• Porters and/or horses to carry the camping equipment and food.
• Cook.
• First aid kit, blood pressure gauge and oxygen tank.

• Boiled water to fill your bottles with in the morning and night, and if required, at lunchtime
• Camping equipment (cooking equipment).
• Reconfirmation of airline tickets.
• Transfer from Huaynacancha to your hotel in Cusco.
• Departing transfer from your hotel in Cusco to the airport or bus terminal.

Not Included

• Sleeping bags.
• Tickets to Huchuy Qosqo.
